In 1997 Exped started to produce their high quality outdoor equipment. Since then we have created many highly innovative products and won many awards for our designs. Early products were a waterproof pack and their well known Downmat. Both of these were developed for Swiss mountain guides to perform in the Alps. Exped continued to innovate making classic bushwalking tents like the Venus II and high quality sleeping bags like the Waterbloc. Their sleeping mat range is second to none with options for either the ultralight bushwalking, car camping or expedition customer.
